The Total 12 Program has two simple parts...
Each week, you'll come to Village for 50-minute group personal training sessions. These sessions are led by 1 coach and have up to 8 clients. We start with a comprehensive warm-up and core work. Once your body is primed, we move to strength training. Our strength training utilizes our proven 12 Movement Standards. These are the BEST 12 exercises for people 40+. Then, we move to our cardio portion of the workout, the Apex. This part of the workout is designed to prove to you that your are capable of doing hard things. We finish every session with breathing, stretching, and mobility exercises.
Our nutrition approach at Village is and EASY to follow step-by-step process designed to optimize your metabolism and HEALTH. You'll work with a group of other clients and our nutritionist to build life-long nutrition habits using our NEW method that's been PROVEN to work. We are going to tell you what to eat, what not to eat, and how to make these habits a part of your life. Being healthy is supposed to be simple. How long are sessions?
What happens during a session?
FOCUS | During sessions, we start with a few minutes of warm up to prep your body for the workout to come.
STANDARDS | This is the majority of each session. Here we go through a few of our Village Movement Standards, the 12 most important movements that all humans need in place in their lives to maximize their health potential. We've built out an EASY to follow step-by-step progression for each standard to GUARANTEE you get stronger without getting injured.
CORE | We spend time in EVERY session hitting core strength to build a strong, toned, lean core that supports your spine and keeps you feeling great!
APEX | This is the high intensity conditioning part of each workout. You need to work really hard, but not for very long. The APEX is 5 minutes or less of interval training to cap off the session.
WIND DOWN | We finish each session with stretching, breathing, and some mindset training. Plus, we have a little surprise at the end of each session. What is it? I can't tell you or it wouldn't be a surprise!
How many sessions per week will I come in?
2 to 4 workouts per week. We help people figure out their number of weekly sessions based on their schedule, how quickly they want to see results, and their current activity level.
Who will be leading my sessions?
Our amazing team of coaches and occasionally Dr.'s of PT.
Do I have to commit to a specific session time?
Nope. We do recommend that you pick a recurring time however because we find that have a rhythm to your week makes you more likely to succeed.
