Pelvic floor physical therapy for pregnant and postpartum women
Get back to having pain-free sex, stop leaking, and alleviate pelvic pain.

Pelvic floor dysfunction is common but NOT normal.

Are you struggling with leaking, incontinence, prolapse, and pain with sex? Modern medicine treats these issues as somewhat normal during pregnancy and postpartum. They tell you to just live with it and go back to normal life.

But it doesn't have to be this way! Leaking, incontinence, prolapse and pain with sex are SOLVEABLE. IF you get the right care.

We can help.

Our hearts break when we see women struggling with painful sex, leaking, and prolapse.

PREVENT FUTURE PROBLEMS

You don't want to be the 50-something woman who has to wear pads all the time, can't have pain-free sex, and needs prolapse surgery, right? I thought so. Getting expert care BEFORE major problems arise should be required for all new moms!

WORK WITH A SPECIALIST

Specific problems require specific solutions. General physical therapists simply don't have the training to help with pelvic floor issues. Working with a women's health expert like Dr. Erica will help you heal and get back to doing what you love,.

SAVE TIME

All sessions are 1-1 with Dr. Erica. You'll never be passed off to a PT aide. This ensures your recovery will be as efficient as possible. Let's get you back to being the healthy, active mom you want to be!

GUARANTEE

Sessions and packages are backed by a 100% money back guarantee if you're not completely satisfied with the care you receive.

Dr. Erica knows what it feels like to struggle to feel normal after having a baby. The medical world tells you to go back to regular life at 6-weeks postpartum. But healing can take a year or more (and that's if you're doing it right). Some women never fully heal and experience symptoms for the rest of their life.

YOU are the kind of mom and woman who wants to be active. You want to keep up with your kids. You want to have good sex with your husband. One day, you want to run around with your grandkids at the park and not worry about leaking.

In order to be that way, you need a healthy pelvic floor! The problem is most women don't know the first thing about their pelvic floor. They think it's totally normal to have leaking, pelvic pain, or prolapse. They feel like they just need to live with it. We understand how frustrating it can be when your doctor tells you your symptoms are normal.

But here's the good news: No matter your birth story, you can heal, recover, and get back to doing what you love. You need the guidance of an expert to make it happen.  That’s why we specialize in working with women who are pregnant or postpartum. You are unique. Every story is different. Every mom deserves this type of care.

Kim, mom of 2 | Azusa

I started seeing Dr. Erica at VFPT when I was 31 weeks pregnant and I am so glad I did! Pregnant with my second child, I did not want a repeat of the labor and delivery experience I had with my first, which led to a difficult recovery. Some friends recommended I see a pelvic floor PT. It made such a difference! Dr. Erica helped me better understand my body and the changes it would make to deliver my baby. She taught me exercises to do to prepare my body for childbirth. As a result, I felt empowered and prepared to work with the natural processes my body would go through. After delivery, my midwives commented on how well I did with breathing and engaging the correct muscles during contractions and pushing. They were so impressed that they asked for Dr. Erica’s card to give to other clients! My recovery was so much better this time around, too, which has allowed my whole family to transition well to life with a new baby. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Erica!

Nicole, mom of 3|Glendora

My 3rd pregnancy and delivery were by far the hardest. I had pelvic prolapse after. Didn't know that was a thing, but it happened, so yeah. Honestly, I was worried that I was never going to be able to go back to normal life. Would I be able to keep up with my first two kids? Would I be able to exercise again? Would sex ever be enjoyable? Was I going to need some sort of strange metal mesh thing in my pelvis? My mind went to some dark places. I started looking for help. That's when I found Dr. Erica and Village PT. Before seeing Dr. Erica, I was hesitant. I didn't know how I felt about someone all up in my business. Especially when I was healing and feeling so raw emotionally. But Dr. Erica made me feel SO comfortable. She explained everything she was doing, asked for my permission, and made me feel like we were partnering together in the journey. What she did for me also worked. Really well. Now, I'm back to working out, having sex, and being a mom for 3 kids. My prolapse symptoms are gone. I am so happy with Dr. Erica and cannot recommend her enough!

Heidi, mom of 2 |Germany

I arrived to Glendora for work depleted and without energy. I knew I needed help recovering from my first baby. Dr. Erica was caring, compassionate, empathic, and motivating. After some research, and having been to physical therapists and osteopaths in Germany, I was serious about healing my pelvic floor postpartum, while visiting relatives in LA.

She tailored our meetings and I was pain free much sooner than expected. Then, we focused on strengthening my trunk and core with gentle and then more challenging exercises focused on the pelvic floor, which requires very subtle movements that are hard to replicate when watching videos (during COVID times). Being treated in person was really important for me as Dr. Erica could tell if I was doing the exercises correctly. She also asked me about my goals and how I felt. My success was very important to her. So, I was healed very quickly and resumed my workouts and running after my baby in a few months! Also, I became much more empowered to look after myself, which is difficult with 2 little ones at home and a full-time job.
