Foundation Session (Your Starting Point)

Before you join group sessions, you’ll come in for a Foundation Session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy or a Village coach. You’ll sample a workout, find your starting levels for key movements, and learn how we coach form and safety.

Start Training (2–3x/week)

Train 2–3 days/week in 50-minute, in-person small group training sessions. Each session is coached, structured, and scaled to your current ability level.

The twelve movement standards we train

The program is built around 12 key movements that develop strength, mobility, balance, and endurance. You don’t need to know these movements beforehand. Each one has beginner, intermediate, and advanced variations, and we find a starting level that fits your body.

curl

Jump

Push up

side bend

single leg top down deadlift

SKI ERG

deadlift

squat

pull up

press

lunge

Step

Some of these may sound intimidating—especially pull-ups or push-ups. That’s normal. We coach versions that work for people who are brand new, and progressions that challenge even very fit clients.

How progress happens (Week 1 → Week 12)

getting started

You’ll start light in Week 1, focusing on form, range of motion, and confidence. Each week we progress in a structured way—adding weight, improving control, and building capacity safely.

Tracking progress

We track everything in a workout journal. The coach and you will write in it together so your progression is clear, measurable, and consistent.

benchmark week

In Week 12 we reassess several of the movement standards and celebrate progress. It’s not about comparison—it’s about
